It is Sunday. We went to The Central for our ramen dinner. After drinking a cup of milk tea with pearls, I wasn't feeling hungry, and maybe that's the reason I didn't find the ramen fantastic.
I've ordered soyu ramen. The noodles are a bit thick, so is the charsiew. And I don't like bamboo shoots. People become more chosey as they grow older. sigh...
And we ordered the egg. It is surppose to look like this. Fully cooked whites with half cooked yolks. But the restaurant didn't have QA control. My egg yolk is almost fully cooked. Quite disappointed.
After the dinner, we had a walk along Clark Quay.
Bokeh?
Heart shape catus. We also saw terrarium (plants in a bottle) Afer some thoughts, I decided to spare their lives.
Youngest and oldest performers. Toddler PK-ing elderly in a dance match. Free-style.
I love this long bean with XO sauce. It tasted so good.
Roast meat tasted good. But seems a bit over priced. This 9 little pieces of meat cost $9.
Well, it costed $1.17 each.
| | I was clearing my leave, and thus went to Marina Bay to take photo. It was after lunch time, and the sun is right above. Super hot. But I manage to have a beautiful blue sky as the background. |
Jun : Come out, don't be shy.
Jun : Come on. You are a super zoom camera.
Jun : I SAY COME OUT!
Something is terribly wrong with my Lumix FZ28. It is suppose to have this impressive 18 times zoom. But all of a sudden, it refuse to work.
Well, maybe I should say, it decides to change its job. The level that controls the zooming in and out has now started a new position as the shutter. It is now taking pictures instead of zooming. The thing is, my shutter button did not swap it's job with the zoom level. Meaning, the camera can't zoom at all. This is weird.
I wonder if it would decides to change back if I leave it alone for a while.... I doubt so.
This little bunny is a Xmas gift from me to me. Her name is Jun Mihara, a character from some PS3 game.
Jun knows how to enjoy life. A bite of sushi and a sip of hot green tea. Haaa... Shiok!
Jun : Hey, that's me!
It all started when I saw some very nice pictures of Danbo, a cardboard robot toy in Clubsnap. I started searching for pictures of other toys. And found that Revoltech toys are super cute where you can even change their face to show different expressions.
The toys have become super models for many photographers. Some of the pictures tell a story, or a joke. The toy that I wanted very much is actually Sony Cat. There's a white cat and a black cat. They also have a lot of funny expressions you can play around with. But the manufacturer has already stop production and it is now Out of Stock.
Well, this little bunny is also very cute and likable. Actually, I'm also eyeing on another Revoltech toy call Suzuki. It is a white robot with different faces. Maybe I'll get that for my Birthday.
My friends and I went to Marina Bay to check out the ilight displays and also to take some photos. However...
Basically, that is how we shoot. It was raining. We tried to take pictures while holding an umbrella. And the wind was there to make our hands shake more.
In the end, all my pictures were badly taken. They were either over exposed, under exposed, out of focus or blurred due to shaky hands.
Only a few is still bearable.
And I used photoshop to do some multi-exposure to make those blurred pictures look interesting.
We were so tired. It was a very long walk from The Sail to Marina Bay Sand to Esplanade to Fullerton Hotel. And I kept getting rain water on my lens.
I guess, I really don't know how to take night shoots. It is so difficult! I'll stick to broad day light shooting.

Multi-explosure effects done with photoshop. Really like the real multi-explosure done by films. But, it is quite expensive to get the camera and the films and the development fees altogether.
Pictures are taken by android apps, FXcamera and Vignette Demo.
